The new Chinese brand AITO debuted at the 2025 Munich Motor Show. This young brand from the Series Group was created just four years ago and its sales have already exceeded 750,000 vehicles in its home country, becoming one of the fastest growing companies in the luxury electric car segment.
Rapid growth, driven by the success of its flagship models and offerings that aim to redefine the concept of ‘connected luxury’.

The collection was shown in Munich
The range of cars that the company brought to the 2025 Munich Motor Show begins with the large AITO 9, Which we already discussed. This is the company’s flagship car, here in a 5-seater configuration but also available as a 6-seater with two rows of individual chairs.
With a length of 205.9 inches and a wheelbase of 122.44 inches, it is an imposing but elegantly designed SUV. The 365 kW powertrain ensures sports car-like acceleration (0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds), while the total range reaches 770 miles thanks to the range extender system, with more than 136.7 miles possible in all-electric mode.
Next to the flagship is the AITO 8, a 6-seater SUV designed with the family in mind. At 204.3 inches long, it combines style and practicality with ample space and a WLTP range of 835 miles. The second-generation “zero gravity” seats recline up to 121 degrees and offer massage, heating and ventilation.
There’s also a 32-inch rear screen and a dual-mode thermal chamber (hot and cold), designed for long flights. The third row is also noteworthy, with nearly 40 inches of legroom: a detail that should not be taken for granted in this segment.

The third model is the AITO 7, which targets those who want comfort and a practical car designed for the family. With a length of 197.6 inches and 6 seats, it is a large SUV that does not give up on its sporty character, thanks to its 330 kilowatt engine.
Combined range exceeds 621 miles, and on-board features include practical solutions such as integrated tables and tablets for rear passengers, useful for both working and traveling children. Here too, safety is paramount: the frame uses high-strength, hot-stamped steel of “submarine” origin, a feature that AITO proudly highlights in all its models.

Rounding out the lineup is the AITO 5, a mid-range model aimed at a younger, dynamic audience. Measuring 188 inches, it has sporty lines, aggressively designed LED headlights, and an all-aluminum body, making it light and agile to drive.
With 365kW and 675Nm of torque, it accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4.3 seconds, while having a range of up to 702 miles WLTP. Inside, you’ll find premium materials like Nappa leather, along with cutting-edge technology: a head-up display, a 19-speaker audio system, and multi-color ambient lighting.

All innovative technologies of the brand
But at the AITO stand at the 2025 Munich Motor Show, there aren’t just cars. The company is also showcasing the technical backbone of its models, starting with the MF platform, developed by the Seres Group to be versatile and secure.
It is compatible with three different engine types: REEV, EV and PHEV, allowing configurations from sedan to MPV, with an improved suspension system (double wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear, also available with air shock absorbers and rear axle steering).

Among the most technical innovations is the Next Generation Power, a range extender with a thermal efficiency of 44.8% and quiet operation that is almost identical to pure electric cars thanks to individual motors for each wheel: a solution that not only improves traction, but offers unique functions such as “tank rotation” (rotation around its axis) or active torque distribution to deal with slippery or rough terrain.
Finally, in terms of technology, all AITO cars are equipped as standard with a 192 laser Lidar system, which is the most advanced, and therefore all offer the “Intelligent Assist Driving System” technology as standard for first-class driving assistance.
A brand we will see soon
AITO’s trajectory is one of the most surprising in the Chinese automotive scene: in just over three years, it has established itself as the sixth premium brand in terms of sales. Following its debut on stage in Munich, the brand’s global debut will soon extend to the UAE.
