Aston Martin has introduced a new model for the DB12 Halo, the DB12 S. It joins the DBX S and Vantage S, which were added to Aston’s lineup earlier this year, both part of CEO Adrian Holdmark’s plan to introduce more model variants. The new DB12 S receives several improvements that should make it an even more exciting car to drive.
Under the hood, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 now makes 691 horsepower, an increase of 20, and 590 pound-feet of torque. The extra power, quicker shifts, and improved launch control cut the 0-60 time for the car to 3.4 seconds for the coupe. The VB12 S Volante needs 3.5 seconds.
The car’s top speed is 202 mph.
New DB12 It comes standard with carbon ceramic brakes, saving 59.5 pounds of unmounted weight. It measures 16.1 inches up front and 14.2 inches at the rear and features the brand’s next-generation Brake Control system.

Other modifications unique to the DB12 S include recalibrated throttle and routing, modified Bilstein DTX manifolds, and an improved electronic rear diff. Aston Martin Engineers also stiffened the rear anti-sag bars and modified the geometry, geometry and toe-offs to improve handling.
The hotter DB12 stands out from the non-S variants with some unique visual touches. The DB12 S features a dual-element front spoiler that increases downforce and directs air in and around the front wheel arches.
The hood houses a hood, which Aston offers in black or optional carbon fibre.
At the rear, the Aston receives a fixed rear spoiler, a new diffuser, and four stainless steel spoilers. A titanium system is optional, which increases volume by 1.5 dB and is 25.8 lighter than the stock exhaust.
Inside, the new variant features a red metallic engine placement on the center console, a color that ASTON also uses for the S Extrape S badges. The cabin is available in three interior trim configurations and comes with leather and alcantara.
You can order the DB12 in coupe and convertible configurations today. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026. Aston hasn’t provided any pricing information yet, but the regular DB12 starts at $250,000, and we wouldn’t be surprised if the price is higher than $275,000.
