Ian Calom did it again. The British designer, known for his work in Aston Martin and Jaguar, is now running his design house, which is simply called Calum. There, it is known as Restomods and the redesign of cars that include Vanquish and the original Mini Coper.
Callum recently revealed a new concept on Instagram This re -perception of the company Ristomod 25 Ristomod as amazing shooting brakes. It looks great mostly, but we have mixed feelings. The illustrations are a direct scale to see if anyone interested in such a construction:

But those wheels should go. It is very large and very wide, and tone coloring is an insult to all sacred things when it comes to wheel design. The wheels should be one color. The brake caliper is somewhat vague, and it should be silver or black. This is Aston Martin, after all, not Ferrari.
There are also headlights. In an attempt to bring the immortal Vanquish design to the twenty -first century, Callum added a set of modern display devices with circular LED operation lights. Although designers mean well, it makes the car look like it has been adjusted with cheap after -sales, ready -made parts. The original set of headlights was more category.
Everything that is said, I am sure that Callum can absorb my tasteless country – in any case -. Small boutique manufacturers revolve around the customization these days, so if someone calls for a sparkling shooting brake that corresponds to a closer way with the original design, I think it can happen.
