Kia’s sales are soaring, but its electric cars continue to struggle

Kia continues to cook this year, with the Korean automaker recording its best performance in the month of October never. The automaker sold just over 69,000 vehicles last month, exceeding October 2024 sales by just 94 units. But some models were definitely better than others.

Agreement K4 The sedan was Kia’s second best-selling vehicle last month, barely beating the three-row Telluride. Both models actually saw a decline in sales last month compared to the same period a year earlier.

“Despite the many challenges facing the auto industry, Kia is focused on long-term growth, supporting our customers with a variety of models that provide great value, and we continue on pace to achieve our third consecutive annual sales number,” said Eric Watson, vice president of sales operations for Kia America.
