I like to think I’m pretty good at figuring out AI. However, with AI tools evolving at an alarming pace, I’ll admit it’s becoming harder to tell the difference. In fact, I almost fell in love with this supposed teaser for Mazda’s upcoming debut at the 2025 Japanese Mobility Expo. It looks a lot like the official render released a few days ago, right down to the “You’ll want a closer look” caption.
As much as I wish it were real, the truth is that we are looking at a clear falsehood. Despite the initial similarities, there is a simple way to spot the contrast between the two images. A close look at the tailgate closing line reveals where the AI slipped. on True Mazda humorThe tailgate extends rearward, overlapping more than half of the wheel arch. In the image generated by the AI, the door ends in front of the rear wheel.

Once you notice this subtle difference, it becomes easier to see the slightly changed greenhouse and beltline. Ironically, rear visibility appears to be better in the AI car, as it lacks the huge blind spot found in Mazda’s teaser image. Fake it until it explodes Jaguar F-Type Feelings, only with four doors. It’s a convincing effort, if real.
Even if the real Mazda turns out to be a 2+2 sports model, suggesting a revival RX-8 Or restart the Mazda6, there is still a bigger problem. The fact that so many people are fooled by images of artificial intelligence paints a bleak picture for the future of the Internet. With AI tools readily available and creators chasing clicks, this is just the beginning.
Fake offers are nothing new, of course, but it’s worth reminding ourselves to double-check what we see online. If the message is not from an official media channel, someone is likely trying to scam you.

As for the real deal, the rolls come in a few days. Mazda It will unveil the sleek sedan (or is it a hatchback, perhaps a throwback?) on October 29. It’s branded a “vision” car, which is a fancy way of saying the concept. We actually doubted that, based on the small side cameras and lack of visible door handles.
Mazda has made it clear that a new 6 with an inline-six will not happen due to expected lower demand. The nameplate has already returned, to some extent, in the form of an all-electric car 6 AHIt is sold in select markets as Mazda’s version of the electric car in the Chinese market. A rear-wheel-drive coupe based on the CX-60 platform has also been ruled out, suggesting that this concept points in a different direction.
Since it doesn’t share an SUV silhouette, the next Vision concept may preview the next generation Mazda3. After all, the current model has been around since 2019. Whatever this is, one thing is for sure: it’s not what some people are trying to trick you into believing.
