Ferrari never ceases to surprise us. Between countless rides, a V-12 suicide-door SUV, and the promise of an electric vehicle, Maranello continues to find ways to attract attention. Most of us thought the hype surrounding non-fungible tokens had died down long ago, and yet the Prancing Horse is launching its own NFT. As a result, this F76 is not real.
Instead, the low-slung machine is a product of Ferrari’s imagination, designed exclusively for members of the company’s Hyperclub programme. For the past three years, the super-rich have been given design options to customize their fantasy cars, knowing from the start that the F76 would never exist beyond a computer screen.
Curiously, Ferrari describes it as “the first car created exclusively for the digital world in the form of an NFT.” However, Renault’s Alpine sub-brand made a similar claim four years ago with GTA concept. Regardless of who did it first, the super-angular F76 offers a glimpse into the future of the company’s design.
This wild hypothetical concept, penned by the Ferrari Design Center under Flavio Manzoni, is a sign of things to come. The “design statement,” as Ferrari calls it, aims to “pre-imagine the shapes of future Ferraris,” signaling a radical shift in upcoming production models. The company’s design language has already changed significantly since the last model signed by Pininfarina, the F12Berlinettawhich ended production in 2017.

Of course, the actual production cars won’t be as extreme as the F76, but this digital concept is a clear indication that bolder designs are on the horizon. Ferrari He refers to it as a “design statement” featuring dual cockpits, each with its own steering wheel and pedals. While the futuristic shape looks like it arrived from decades to come, the retractable headlights pay homage to the past, specifically the popular pop-up lights of the 1980s.
Since the car does not physically exist, there are no technical specifications that can be discussed. However, it is surprising that Ferrari envisioned an F76 with a combustion engine.
