The Porsche Macan Electric is outselling the petrol model this year, partly because the ICE version is no longer sold in the EU. There won’t be any internal competition for long, as the gas-powered Macan will be retired globally in 2026. A new combustion-engined crossover with a different name is in development but It won’t debut until 2028. Meanwhile, Zuffenhausen is expanding the electric lineup with a fifth model.
The all-wheel drive Macan GTS sits between the 4S and Turbo, borrowing the latter’s electric motor. Porsche It quotes a combined output of 509 hp, rising to 563 hp when the launch control system is engaged. With 704 lb-ft of almost instantaneous torque, the newcomer is predictably quick, hitting 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. The Turbo still holds the crown, running half a second quicker.
From the start, the GTS comes with the Sport Chrono package, Torque Vectoring Plus and an air suspension tuned specifically for this version. It has the lowest center of gravity of any Macan Electric and can optionally be equipped with rear-wheel steering. Porsche has also tuned the dampers and roll bars to provide a more engaging driving experience.
In line with Other GTS modelsIt features black exterior accents and colored headlights and taillights. Porsche sweetens the deal with a standard Sport Design package that features revised front and rear fascias. The GTS gets it first but it will be rolled out to other Macan Electric variants from summer 2026.

Beefier rocker panels help the GTS stand out, while Lugano Blue joins the color palette alongside Carmine Red and Chalk. Buyers can choose from 15 standard colors or approximately 60 others through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. The standard 21-inch wheels can be upgraded to this set of 22-inch Anthracite Gray wheels.
In keeping with Porsche’s tradition of enticing buyers with options, the new GTS interior package features contrast stitching that matches the exterior paint when finished in Crimson Red, Slate Gray Neo or Lugano Blue. A GTS logo has been added to the steering wheel and instrument cluster. This package is only available with carbon fiber interior trim.
Porsche is already taking orders from the United States for the electric Macan GTS, with a starting price of $103,000, or just $6,500 less than the 630-horsepower Turbo. For reference, the six-cylinder Macan GTS was introduced a decade ago (b It was later updated) undercuts it by $10,000. Deliveries begin next spring.
