2025 Volkswagen Tiguan Review: Pricing and Specifications

Volkswagen Tiguan has always been one of the best SUVs integrated in its class, but even after 18 years of the market, it never corresponds to the dominance of competitors such as those from Honda or Toyota. This can change with the all-new Tiguan 2025, leading to tremendous steps to compete better with CR-V and RAV4.

With a stylish design and a well -equipped interior design, the new Tiguan All correct boxes are achieved. Built on the MQB EVO multi -use VW, the updated model is lighter on 170 pounds than its predecessor. Inside, it features high -quality materials, cleaner planning, and a large central touch screen.

Energy comes from a 2.0 -liter 2.0 -liter engine, features new turbo and revised fuel injection system. The output rises to 201 hp (elevated from 184), and the torque improves to 221 lb -torque (or 207 lb on the front driving model).

Overall, the new Tiguan is excellent SUV.

2025 Volkswagen Tiguan positives

  • Severe exterior design
  • High quality interior
  • Amazing fun
  • There is a size handle

The previous Tiguan has never been a big scene, but the new model is really sharp. Although the big bright black network may not appeal to everyone, the general design is clean, coherent and not controversial.

In the foreground, slim LED headlamps are connected by a narrow lighting tape that extends across the lid line, giving Tiguan a sophisticated modern look. At the back, a distinctive rear design and a light VW logo (optional) confirm that you will not confuse Tiguan for CR-V.

Inside, the cabin is nice – really nice. This fully loaded SEL R-LINE cut with perforated leather seats, surrounding lighting and a 15.0-inch touch screen. The materials throughout the cabin feel distinct for the row, with wooden accents and high -quality plastic materials on the panels of impulses and doors that add to a sophisticated feeling.

The energy is sent from the turbocharged engine through an eight -speed automatic transmission, with a front -wheel drive and 4motion SUV driving from VW. The model that was tested here is equipped with AWD.

In a typical VW style, Tiguan is very fun. The turbocharged motor provides a strong torque of low rotation while still provides sufficient energy in the reference scope for highway passes. The eight automatic automation turns eight speeds quickly and effortlessly.

Finally – yes, there is a size handle. Although the latest information and entertainment interface is adopted at VW (complete with typical touch controls), Tiguan has a handle in actual size behind the gear specified. It multiplies as a tablet of the driver of the drive and proves that it is amazingly useful in daily driving.

2025 Volkswagen Tiguan negatives

  • The buttons are still not enough
  • A fairly harsh ride

Although welcoming the new Tiguan handle, it does not completely compensate for the abundance of touch controls. While the steering wheel replaces previous controls with real buttons, you still have to handle sensitive touch skiers under the touch screen to adjust the fan speed, temperature and other basic functions. It is still very annoying.

Also mild annoying is the quality of the passengers. Tiguan is not a uncomfortable SUV by any means, but it is more riding than some of its competitors and does not deal with the harsh sidewalk or almost speed bumps. This may be partially due to 20-inch wheels on this SEL R-Line model; Rapid to 17 -inch basic shoes, a ride quality should be improved.

Frankly, there is not much complaint with the new Volkswagen Tiguan. It looks sharp, provides a comfortable and comfortable interior, which is really fun for driving. At 30,920 dollars to start 2025 (with the inclusion of the destination), it is still a deal as well.

Although the controls that work with touch and a little ride may disturb some of them, these defects are easy to overlook in the SUV that gets a lot of right. Honda and Toyota – Watch your appearance.
