There is a new Audi RS6 Avant on the horizon after its last appearance A6 S6 models. It will take a few months before we see the latest production vehicle, but a spying video from Spain captured a preliminary test on the road. The question is: What is under the cover?
Video of ncars on YouTube It seized the new RS6 Avant in what appears to be the final production model. Given the generous amount of camouflage, although it is impossible to know this. However, the front fascia is very similar to the latest A6, and the lighting fixtures are almost directly from the sedan. Also, “gas” capsules on both sides of the car, but all confirm the energy group.
The video also displays the new RS6 Avant at work, as it is tested on public roads along with other camouflaged preliminary models – one of which is the Q5 or Q7. Unfortunately, the RS6 does not make much noise. Can it be due to low speeds? Or is the vehicle below the cylinders of last year? It is impossible to say. The video photographer also picks up a performance car that appears to be working in pure EV mode.
Some rumors indicate that the new RS6 Avant can decline from the current V-8 Turbo V-8 to V-6 PHEV smaller. Other reports, though, indicate that the RS6 Avant will keep V-8 with an additional hybrid unit. Either way, it should be stronger than ever.
The new AVANT RS6 will exceed 621 hp 621 with about 730 hp, according to Autocar. Ride on top of the Volkswagen Group platform (PPE), GAS RS6 Avant can be sold along with a more powerful E-Tron electrical version.
There is still a lot to get to know the next Audi RS6 Avant before it reaches production, which is expected next year. Currently, enjoy these early glimpses of the road performance car.
