Lexus LC500 It has won many of the hearts of the enthusiasts for its wonderful design and the 5.0-liter Sonorous Sonorous V-8. Since its launch of 2017, LC was also available as V-6 Hybrid, LC500H, but barely bought anyone. For 2026, Lexus was quietly killed of a hybrid model. If you want LC, it will have to be the V-8, which will not be more than a great sacrifice.
Carscoops We caught our attention first To Lexus killing LC500H. In the announcement of the 2026 CO500 COUPE and Convertible year, Lexus did not mention any hybrid variable.

LC500H has emerged unique power generation set used for Lexus only on this coupe and a LS500H sedan. The “multi-stage hybrid system” is increasing to a 3.5-liter V-6 with two motories and a power division of power division as in Toyota’s typical hybrid (albeit with six cylinders instead of four). The system differs from the other Toyota hybrid is a pair of all with a separate quad -speed automatic transmission. The idea is to provide a more traditional driving experience than the typical Toyota Hybrid system, with a high engine and fall cycles, while also maintaining some benefits of efficiency inherent in TS.
The luxurious coupe buyers do not necessarily search for low emissions and fuel consumption efficiency. Especially when the V-8 alternative provides more performance and personality for a few thousand dollars less.
Unlike the end of mixed availability, the LC500 did not change mostly for the year 2026. Lexus has a new package of inspiration from Coupe and Collectible, with Lexus planning 200 and 350 units, respectively, for the American market. Each series of inspiration is characterized by a new and exclusive external color, gray Matti smoke, while the convertible ingredient occurs on a pearl white called wind.
It might seem new as happened eight years ago when Lexus started production, but LC days end. Lexus works on A new sports car, LFRWhich is placed as a competitor to the front engine of Chevrolet Corvette and Borsche 911. We expect the car to appear early in the early next year, to replace LC when it is sold as a model 2027.
