Stellantis believes there’s a market in Europe for something somewhere between a compact crossover and a midsize truck. To fill this niche, which we honestly didn’t realize existed, Ram Rampage is heading to the continent. Designed and manufactured in Brazil, the unibody pickup will be offered in off-road-focused Rebel and street-oriented R/T.
There’s no point in discussing the design since Rampage isn’t all that new. It is essentially identical to the version launched two years ago in Brazil, where it was assembled at the Pernambuco plant. It’s 198 inches (5,028 mm) long, 74.2 inches (1,886 mm) wide, and 67.5 inches (1,716 mm) high, making it much easier to live with on Europe’s narrower roads than with the big boy. 1500.
The Rebel rides on 235/65 R17 all-terrain tires, while the R/T features a stiffer suspension, larger 19-inch wheels with 235/55 rubber, and a 10mm lower ride height. ram The Rampage is called a “premium lifestyle compact truck,” but more important than the marketing language is the size of the cargo box: 34.6 cubic feet (980 liters). With the diesel engine, maximum payload capacity is 2,237 lbs (1,015 kg).
Engine choices depend on trim. the Rebel rampage It uses a 2.2-liter four-cylinder “Multijet” turbodiesel engine with 200 hp and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque. Opt for the R/T and you get a 2.0-liter petrol unit from the “Hurricane” family, with 272 hp and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm). With the diesel engine, the Rampage accelerates from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 9.9 seconds and has a top speed of 122 mph (196 km/h). The R/T is three seconds quicker and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 137 mph (220 km/h).

Rampage’s European debut coincides with the launch of Rampage New Toyota HiluxAlthough the two will not compete directly. A true workhorse, the Hilux is a body-on-frame mid-size pickup aimed at rivals like the Ford Ranger and Volkswagen Amarok. It is worth noting that the Rampage is not the smallest Ram truck. This address goes to 700which is essentially a rebadged Fiat Strada sold in Latin America.
North America still isn’t getting Rampage, despite previous rumors suggesting otherwise. However, Ram A “Nice” mid-sized pickup. With “very good” technical specifications in 2027, according to Stellantis CEO Antonio Velosa.
