This week, Ford announced a significant change to give its image a comprehensive repair process. From now on, Ford Performance will be known as Ford Racing, as it continues to adventure in motorsport.
In a press release, Will Ford, General Manager of Ford Resing, confirmed the company’s mission, describing it more than just a redesign exercise. “This is the re -introduction of the sentence to our racing brand and indicates a completely new way to think about business, brand and products that our efforts in racing bring.”

The company is preparing for adventure in Formula 1 with Red Bull Powersters, as well as ready to return to the model endurance using a new LMDH in 2027. It is already involved in Rally Racing, NASCAR, IMSA, WeC GT3 and Superian Australian.
Although Ford Racing will see internal changes, this does not extend to Mark Rushbroook. During his move from Ford, the global manager will remain a performance, with the intention of covering both racing operations and cars on the roads.
