The last extraordinary car of Gordon Murray is a love message to Loman


Gordon Murray Automotive produces very few cars. Limited production of high boutique car maker T.50 and T.33 It reaches only 100 units each, making it some of the most popular sports cars and the most popular in the market. But for some, even these cars are not special enough. So, GMA offers something more exclusive: Le Mans GTR.

Le Mans GTR is a new V-12 supercar, from the legendary mind of Gordon Murray. It is limited to only 24 units – one per hour of the legendary endurance race – it praises the victory of McLaren F1 GTR in 1995. Murray, for fear of forgetting, designed that car as well, and from here the relationship.

While LE Mans GTR uses the engine and T.50 gearbox, GMA says “almost” everything was changed. There is a new, low-harvesting body that the company says is inspired by long cars in the 1970s, eighties and nineties, as it reaches cars such as Matra-Simca MS660, Porsche 917, and Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/3 as a source of inspiration.

GMA says there are real effects that happen from Aero here, thanks to the front traitor, side skirts, the full width of the width, and a huge channel publishing. Additional body works have eliminated the need for the fan installed on the background on T.50.

The changes facing the body also include larger ventilation holes in the front and the aforementioned side to increase the cooling group. There is a wider path with Michelin Sport Tires 2nd Cup 2, with the support of a more solid and lighter suspension. GMA says it is reaching a new way to install the engine strongly to the structure without the presence of noise and vibration problems that are usually associated with such hard -line features, but it did not clarify the technology in its release.

“The long long race cars are perfectly brought together between the dynamic and aesthetic balance. I have always liked its mix of engineering design and flow,” says CEO Gordon Murray. “We re -conceive to the long contestants who have been impressed since I started designing cars, adding contemporary air dynamics, engineering structure and engine and we transferred wonderfully.”

Special attention was paid to the V-12 sound, with a dual exhaust exhaust to deliver “deep and balanced” soundtrack. It is paired with the amount of air installed on the ceiling, installed directly under the cabin. Like T.50, drivers will have 12,100 rpm incredible to play with here.

Although it is more solid than the regular T.50, the LE MANS GTR interior does not lose to live, according to GMA. The dashboard, switches, seat pillow and pedal platforms for new components have been revised or switched.

All 24 examples of LE Mans GTR were normally talked. There is no word in pricing, but given that T.50 was a $ 3.5 million case, this car should be more than that. GMA says production will start in 2026.
